September 2022’s network planning data brings us changes across a wide range of brands. The scale of changes are impossible to interpret using websites and lists alone. Autosites allows analysis using regularly updated dealeship data (daily) and currently represents the most accurate picture in the UK.

August 2022 sees another wave of location changes across the UK’s car Dealership network. Anyone interested in using monthly data changes for dealership network planning, would be hard pressed to find a more efficient tool in their research. Why? Commercial Vehicle Show 2022

Great to be back at the Commercial Vehicle Show this week, meeting with existing and new clients, discussing their dealership data needs.

We met with several brands, discussing how they are implementing specific commercial focus across their dealership networks.

All in all, c 10,000 visitors attended this year.

On show were, the latest offerings from Ford, Toyota and Isuzu plus a few newcomers INEOS, Maxus and LEVC.

The Ineos Grenadier, a new vehiicle specifically designed for tough off road condition was part of the companies' showcase. Introduced almost immediately after its UK Dealer network became live. Production of the Grenadier isn't sheduled until July 2022.

Maxus launched the first electrically powered pickup at the show, as well as a news people carrier - the MIFA 9.

LEVC, The London Electric Vehicle Company mauufactures the iconic TX, which is essentially a black cab. Launched in November 2020, LEVC launched an electric van - the VN5. This was the centrepiece of their stand.

Both TX and VN5 will be fitted with a new telematics system that will be pre-installed on production models.

As we move forward into 2022 and beyond, progressive companies want to know how to maximise the efficiency of their dealership networks. Our Autosites product directly addresses these needs, since we track the whole UK dealership network. We can offer analysis & reporting to make these activities deliver results accross an ever changing landscape.

Network Planning Data Battery Electric Vehicles February 2022 Pt 2

In the second (and final) part of the infographic driven by our network planning data, we are visualising the progression of the current crop of franchised electric vehicle repairers vs their new counterparts.

Firstly, some acronyms for context:

BEV : Battery Electric Vehicles
ICE : Internal Combustion Engine vehicles

We’ve shown how a handful of ‘gallery type’ stores is currently taking on the larger and existing dealership network. A dealership network that is currenly planning and implementing the transition from Internal Combustion Engine vehicles, to Battery Electric Vehicles.

Network Planning Data Battery Electric Vehicles February 2022 Pt 1

In our dealership infographic, we've used our network planning data to present a comparison of new kids vs old skool as of February 2022.

Firstly, BEV is an acronym for Battery Electric Vehicles. ICE stands for Internal Combustion Engine.

What's the difference between New BEV only brands and Transition BEV brands you may ask?

Well, new BEV brands have only sold BEV from inception (e.g. Tesla), whereas Transition BEV brands traditionally sold ICE vehicles (Internal Combustion Engined vehicles) and are transitioning/transitioned to BEV only (e.g. Smart).

So what do these dealership numbers look like as a percentage, and what other differences are there between the two?

We’ll discuss those in the second part of the post.
